Krines Foundation is a non-profit 501(3) (C) private charitable, nonpartisan organization, born in USA to support the Venezuela chapter which was founded in 2001, with a mission to rehabilitate and positively impact the quality of life of people with a wide range of disabilities, offering a comprehensive therapeutic program, based mainly on the equine therapy. Our main goal is to help them improve their quality of life, making them more independent, and integrating them into all facets of the society along with parents and caregivers.
We are committed with the change and progress of adults and children with disabilities, either congenital or not, or because of an accident. Since its creation, Krines has many people with various disabilities such as: cerebral palsy, autism, disorders psycho motor delays, sensory integration, West syndrome, Down syndrome, and many others.
The road faced by a family with a disabled member is not easy. In Krines Foundation we guide the family as how to confront and coexist with the new troubles, despair, pain and uncertainty Krines Foundation provides support and assistance to families of children with any disability, so that their family life and social integration can be achieved without limits at an early age.
Foundation Krines, as well as promote programs of education and training of Hippotherapy, also engages in other initiatives to address problems such as malnutrition, that trouble and affect the child population of our community and the surrounding areas.
